Belarus creates the most attractive conditions for the work of IT companies. This was stated by Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov in Almaty at the plenary session of the international forum "Digital Agenda in the Epoch of Globalization".

Belarus defined the digital transformation as a priority for national development. One of the key moments in this work is the creation of the most attractive conditions for the work of leading IT companies, the total elimination of barriers for the introduction of new technologies, the formation of an ecosystem of innovations.

The most important step in this direction was Decree No. 8 "On the Development of the Digital Economy" adopted in December 2017. It implies, among other things, the creation of unprecedented conditions for the work of companies in the High-Tech Park, which is already the largest IT cluster in Eastern Europe with a software product volume exceeding $ 1 billion.000021_1517552239_big.jpgThe decree provides zero tax rates for companies-residents of the Park, freedom of capital flow, the use of English law in concluding transactions, and other serious preferences. "In addition, all businesses are fully legalized and tax-exempt in the HTP on the basis of blocking technology, operations with crypto-currencies, mining, ICO." In essence, a "regulatory sandbox" is being created, where the fine legal issues related to the use of the latest technological achievements will be studied ", said Andrei Kobyakov.

Another component of the digital transformation strategy in Belarus is the creation of a new digital transformation management system. "We have a clear understanding that this issue is not just about technology, but more about competent administration of reforms." We are faced with the task of making all sectors of the economy susceptible to innovation. "Stimulating, promoting, and somewhere, I'm not afraid of this words, and "implant" innovative solutions, while simultaneously creating a system that provides an instant response to rapid technological changes, "the prime minister explained.

At the same time, Belarus will continue to integrate the country's digital economy, primarily with the partners in the EEA. The purpose of the forum "Digital agenda in the era of globalization" is the promotion of the EAEU region in the global digitalization, strengthening partnership in this area among the participating countries. The main topic of the discussions is the integration of information systems of the states of the Union. The program consists of a plenary session with the participation of the Prime Ministers of the CIS countries, the Chair of the ECE Collegium and international experts, as well as thematic sessions "Innovation and Technological Entrepreneurship", "The Digital Agenda of the EAEU: Initiatives and Projects", "Digitalization of Industry (Industry 4.0)", "Digital transformation of agriculture in the EAEU". The Prime Ministers of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, official delegations of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan, as well as representatives of a number of large international IT companies take part in the forum.
