A business delegation from companies in Shaanxi Province, China, is seeking interesting partnerships and projects in Belarus. The delegation includes representatives from 15 companies with business interests in the mining, chemical, mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics industries, agriculture, water management, beverage production, and projects at the intersection of game development and tourism. The delegation's visit was organized by the Shaanxi Province branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the National Agency of Investment and Privatization, and Mr. Lei Ning, Vice President of the China Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs.
On September 8, a business forum was held at the Beijing Hotel with the participation of visiting Chinese businessmen and interested Belarusian companies. The heads of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee's Economics Committee, the Mogilev City Executive Committee, the Mogilev Free Economic Zone, and the Mogilev branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry actively participated in the forum.
Opening the forum, NAIP Director Alexey Pushkarev noted that the comprehensive and strategic nature of the Belarus-China partnership is manifested not only in large-scale bilateral and global projects, but also deepens and expands with each new contract, investment, or cooperation project, which increases profits and brings benefits to citizens of both countries. This is the purpose of the business forum.
During the business forum, memoranda of cooperation were signed between the Shaanxi branch of CCPIT and the Mogilev branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the China Association for the Promotion of Trade in Xi'an, and the Mogilev City Executive Committee, as well as an agreement on the implementation of an investment project to create a China-Belarus cross-border e-commerce logistics center in the Mogilev Free Economic Zone.
