On January 10, 2018 a new resident was registered in Minsk FEZ - Limited Liability Company Scientific and Engineering Center EnergoTech with a project for the production of goods and services in the energy and engineering industries.

According to the agreement, the resident is obliged to invest not less than 600 thousand US dollars in the course of 2018-2019 and during 2018-2021 create at least 5 new jobs. 

The beginning of production activity of the enterprise is planned for the fourth quarter of 2018. The company plans to produce labor-intensive parts and units of energy-saving plants for utilizing the energy of excess pressure of natural gas at gas regulating stations.

For reference: Minsk FEZ was established in 1998 with the purpose of attracting investments for the creation and development of industries based on new and high technologies, providing favorable conditions for the economic development of the region. Since the creation of the FEZ, its area has more than doubled and today it is 2.6 thousand hectares. There are more than 110 operating resident enterprises with Belarusian and foreign investments. For the organization of production facilities, 39 plants have been built and reconstructed, 12 enterprises are under construction, and 12 enterprises are at the design stage. The main industrial branches in which FEZ enterprises operate are machine building and metalworking, chemical and petrochemical, timber and construction industries. Financial capital from 23 countries is invested in production. Major investors are Russia, Great Britain, Germany, Cyprus, Estonia, Latvia and the United States.
