On 23 July 2016 a competition to attract a strategic investor will be held in Belarus for JSC Baranovichi Reinforced Concrete Factory. Today, a 99.025% stake in the company for the production of a wide range of precast concrete products for commercial and residential buildings is owned by the Republic of Belarus.

Potential investors are offered various ways of investment. It is possible to acquire controlling or non-controlling interest in the company, as well as to acquire additional shares, create of a joint venture or other investment options.

Participation in the competition is open to companies with high business reputation, experience in the field of construction or production of building materials at least 3 years. Moreover, the average amount of the annual revenue or equity of the party concerned must be at least 39 million US dollars or 13 million US dollars respectively.

Applications from potential investors are accepted until 30 September 2016 inclusive.

The contest is supported by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
