PPP Center of NAIP is going to sign a memorandum of understanding with the PPP Center under the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan. It was decided during the meeting at NAIP on August, 27.


The two sides exchanged information regarding PPP projects implementation both in Belarus and Kyrgyzstan. Denis Meleshkin, Acting Director of NAIP, was in charge of the meeting. NAIP was also joined by Ministry of Economy, EBRD, Business Advisory Board to UNECE, who presented legislation, projects, and pecularities of PPP in Belarus.



Kyrgyz delegation was comprised of Ministry of Economy and Government Office. The guests presented their plans on PPP projects implementation, and also the newly created PPP Center. They also noted that the Kyrgyz Government pays much attention to implementation of PPP projects in infrastructure now.

The Memorandum of Understanding would help exchange experience for specialists from the two countries while working with PPP.



PPP Center of Kyrgyzstan was founded on June 28, 2019. According to the world's practice, PPP is much more efficient for bringing an investment project to the final stage. PPP allows using budget funds more rationally. As of today, Kyrgyzstan formed legal framework for PPP, already implemets 3 projects, and has about 50 project ideas.

Kyrgyz delegation pays a 2-day visit to Belarus, and also studies the experience of "Great Stone" industrial park.
