These days Belarus hosts the exhibition “The original goods of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China 2016”. More than 40 companies from China represent their goods and services in the construction activity, energy, logistics, electronics and IT in the National exhibition center BelExpo. First of all, the exhibition is aimed at entering into direct agreements between the companies.

Appearing at the exhibition opening, Advisor to the Embassy of China in Belarus Lo Chzhanhoy noted, that the economic cooperation between Belarus and China is becoming more widespread. Welcoming the guests of the exhibition, the diplomat emphasized that China and Belarus are good friends and partners, Belarus is one of the countries that was the first to support the initiative of China “One belt, one way”, and one of the key partners of this initiative.
According to Luo Chzhanhoya, currently the intensity of Sino-Belarusian bilateral cooperation has become the most advanced than ever. He also noted that the area of Sino-Belarus trade-economic cooperation continues to expand, the scale of contacts increases.
The diplomat focused on the importance of the fact that this year in September Belarus as an honorary guest took part in the 5th exhibition “World Expo “China-Eurasia”” in the city of Urumqi. Luo Chzhanhoy said: “The representative of Belarus was very serious. The parties have agreed to cooperate more actively. China is willing to continue to make cooperative efforts with Belarus to promote cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and other fields. Today's organization of the exhibition is a definite step of the two governments on implementation of important agreements of the state leaders’, which has a particular value.”
Lo Chzhanhoy expressed confidence that the parties fully use the effective platform of exposition to achieve even more results in cooperation.

The exhibition is held to implement the Development Programs of comprehensive strategic partnership between Belarus and China in 2014-2018, as well as the implementation of the provisions of Directive №5 the development of the Belarusian-Chinese relations. Participating companies represent industries such as agriculture, food industry, consumer goods, machinery, instrumentation, electronics, information technology, mining, construction.
The Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is China's largest and the richest mining of natural resources: gold, oil and coal. It is also an important strategic site for the construction of Economic zone “The Silk Road”.
