On September 22, 2014 the Belarus-USA Investment Forum is to be held in New York (USA) for the first time. The Forum is one of the most important events in the economic life of Belarus.
Belarusian delegation at the event will be headed by Mikhail Myasnikovich, the Prime Minister. The representatives of the Development Bank, the Ministry of Finance, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce, the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus, Belarus High-Tech Park, Industrial Park Development Company will attend the Forum. In addition, more than 500 potential participants are invited to the Forum.
Under the auspices of the Belarus-USA Investment Forum a platform for open dialogue between the heads Belarus government and potential foreign investors will be organized. Ways to improve the investment climate in the country will be discussed. Participants will be able to obtain information on the Belarus investment potential, including new opportunities related to the Common Economic Space formation.
The forum was organized with the support of the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the National Agency of Investment and Privatization.

One of the major events organized by the National Agency of Investment and Privatization in 2012 was the Belarus Investment Forum. About 500 people, among them — 300 foreign participants from 42 countries including 190 commercial companies with the total capitalization of more than $ 2 trillion attended it. The representatives of the largest companies in the Netherlands, Italy, France, Korea, Japan, China, the UAE and Qatar participated in the event.
Within the forum, a presentation of 23 Belarus investment projects with the total investment amount of over $ 1 billion was shown. With the direct assistance of the National Agency for Investment and Privatization 12 protocols of investment intentions to the amount of more than $200 million were signed.
