New FEZ resident Gomel-Raton until the end of 2017 will create the production of high-precision details from black and color metals.
As a resident Belarusian-Polish enterprise KolosEvroTekh was registered at the end of 2016. ALC LKSN-Kolos (Gomel) acted as its cofounder from the Belarusian side specializing in production of details, nodes and mechanisms from cast iron, ferrous and non-ferrous metal, stainless steel.
Representatives of the company plan to create the production of high-precision goods from black and color metals in Gomel. According to the business plan, the volume of investments will amount to more than 1 million USD. The products will be exported to the European Union countries.
“The sites for placement of the new enterprise have bee already chosen, deliveries of production equipment will start in March, and by the end of the current year the resident plans to ship the first lot of finished products,” noted head of FEZ administration Antonina Ezhova.
Alkopak, one of the FEZ residents, intends to master release of new products — packing for medical supplies and medical pumps. Total investments into the production will make up about 4.5 million euros. About 90% of the production will be exported.

Following the results of 2016, FEZ Gomel-Raton raised in economy more than 12 million USD of direct foreign investments on a net basis. The inflow of FDI on a net basis first of all was provided due to the foreign residents who had been registered by FEZ administration last year. Those were six new investors from Italy, Russia, Ukraine, and the Baltic States. In turn, residents which were set up previously provided task performance on export at the level of 111% in case of the plan of 105%. Following the results of 2016, the export volume made up 236.9 million USD.
FEZ Gomel-Raton was created in 1998. The FEZ territories are located in Gomel and Gomel district, and also in the cities of Mazyr, Recyca, Svetlogorsk, Dobrush. FEZ Gomel-Raton residents are 78 companies from Belarus and abroad. Leaders in investments are Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Liechtenstein and Lithuania.
