A new resident of Brest Free Economic Zone will be engaged in the production of concrete products. The contract was concluded with LLC VelkeyImpex. In accordance with the legislation, the agreement provides the company as a FEZ resident with a number of advantages for the implementation of economic activities. The new enterprise organizes the production of concrete building elements.
The volume of planned investments is more than 2.3 million euros. The project provides for the creation of at least 24 jobs when the enterprise operates at full capacity. For the construction of a new production, a land plot on the territory of the industrial zone along the street of Lieutenant Ryabtsev has been allocated to the investors. It is expected that the first batch of products will leave the assembly line in July this year. According to the business plan, the products will be delivered to the domestic and foreign markets, including to the CIS countries and the European Union.
For reference: Currently, more than 70 residents from 17 countries operate in the territory of Brest FEZ. In terms of investment, Germany leads, representatives of Russia and Poland actively participate as well. In particular, in 2017 five enterprises were registered as FEZ residents. They specialize in the production of metal products, water purification systems, household chemicals in aerosol packaging, cultivation of mycelium. Another company will be engaged in the construction of a logistics center.
