QS World University Rankings was published by a well-known British agency QS. According to the rating, Belarusian State University is among the top 500 best universities of the world and has been successfully holding this position for two years. BSU has been placed in the group of universities, occupying positions from 421 to 430.

BSU has been improving its position in the ranking of the world best universities three years running. In 2013 the University was on the 551th place; in 2014 it was on the 491th. This year BSU has improved its place on 60-70 positions at once.
In QS Ranking among Belarusian universities except from BSU Belarusian National Technical University is rankled in the group of 701+.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA) is on top of QS Ranking, followed by Harvard University (USA) and Cambridge University (UK).

British agency QS has been ranking universities around the world more than 10 years. The study usually includes only the first 700-800 best universities, i.e. 3% of the existing universities.
QS Ranking is based on the analysis of data on institutes of higher education and surveys of independent experts. Experts estimate various indicators such as the results of surveys (academic reputation), employer survey results, a citation index of treatise over the past five years, the ratio of teachers and students, the number of foreign students and teachers.
