For ten years the number of residents of the High-Tech Park has increased 38 times, and the volume of their exports has broken all records. On the birthday of HTP 42.TUT.BY has collected the most amazing figures of the Belarusian “Silicon Valley.”
The first residents were registered in the Hi-Tech Park on 1 June 2006; this date is considered to be the day of HTP birth. The administration of the park has shared the results of the decade on its website.

The number of residents has increased 38 times over ten years: from 4 companies in June 2006 to 152 in June of 2016. The first residents, by the way, were EPAM Systems, Sacrament of IT, System Technologies and Nauchsoft.
The annual volume of export has increased 33.6 times from $21 mln in 2006 to over $705 mln in 2015.
Export makes 91.5% of HTP's economy. This is a record high number in the park's history.
$74 per every Belarusian has been earned from all products and services sold by HTP abroad.
Residents of the park earned 1.07 trillion rubles in the domestic market of Belarus in 2015.
In 2015 HTP residents paid $47.2 million to budget in taxes.
Approximately 3,000 new professionals are hired by the Hi-Tech Park annually. Now there are 25 thousand employees in resident companies of the park. Against staff reductions in industry giants, IT-companies keep on growing.
At present 38,180 people across the country work in the sphere of computer technologies. Their nominal average monthly salary amounted to 22,631,816 rubles in 2015 (National Statistics Committee data).
900,000, 000 people in 160 countries use mobile applications created in Belarus. Most popular ones are those produced by Apalon and MSQRD.
Belarus has advanced 38 positions over 10 years in the world ranking of the International Telecommunication Union in the ICT Development Index: from 74th place in 2005 to 36th in 2015.
