On July 22nd the representatives of the holding company “Gruppo Paoletti”, headed by the president of the company Vittorio Paoletti visited the National Agency of Investment and Privatization (hereinafter referred to as – the Agency) and the Government of the Republic of Belarus.
The aim of the visit of the Italian holding company was to analyze and to elaborate the investment projects planned to be implemented in the territory of Belarus.
Following the results of the first visit and meeting in the Agency on March 2014 the main normative legal acts in the sphere of investment and production of the renewable energy resources were forwarded to the investor. The investment intentions of the holding company have been elaborated, including the cooperative work with other governmental bodies.
During the second visit the representatives of the “Gruppo Paoletti” attended the land plots selected for the implementation of investment projects, discussed tax aspects and other issues on the planned projects.
According to the results of the visit, the company confirmed its intentions on the implementation of three investment projects in the territory of the Republic of Belarus:
- The project on the processing, collection, removal, sorting and utilization of the municipal waste in the Minsk city;
- Establishment of an agricultural enterprise;
- Biogas and wind power plant construction.
There were reached an agreement that the Agency will continue rendering comprehensive assistance to the company in the implementation of the investment projects in the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
