On January 25, LLC First abrasive company was registered as a resident of FEZ Minsk.
The enterprise is implementing an investment project for the construction of a production and warehouse complex. To develop the production of abrasive tools in 2018-2025 it is planned to invest more than $ 1.2 million. Construction work on the site will begin in the I quarter of 2021. Commissioning is planned for the 4th quarter of 2023.
Abrasive tools are widely used in mechanical engineering and instrument making for grinding, polishing of parts. The products are oriented not only to the domestic market, but also in significant volumes will be shipped outside Belarus.
For reference: Free Economic Zone Minsk was established in 1998 with the aim of attracting domestic and foreign investments for the creation and development of industries based on new and high technologies and providing favorable conditions for the economic development of the region. Since the creation of the FEZ its area has more than doubled and today it is 2.6 thousand hectares. There are 110 operating resident enterprises with Belarusian and foreign investments. For the organization of production facilities, 42 plants have been constructed and reconstructed, 9 are still under construction, and 15 are at the design stage. In production, financial capital is invested from 20 countries. Major investors are Russia, Great Britain, Germany, Cyprus, Estonia, Latvia and the United States.
