NAIP took part in the meeting with Mikolaj Tauber, Head of the Minsk office of the Polish Investment & Trade Agency, and expressed its readiness to render assistance in the organization of the Belarus-Poland Forum which will take place in November, 2019 in Minsk.

During the meeting, which took place on August, 8 at the Government House, Belarusian and Polish sides discussed topical issues of attraction foreign direct  investments from Poland to Belarus, certification of imported goods, and also agreed to arrange subsequent meetings at the high level in order to continue negotiations.

Mr. Vladislav Shchepov, Chairman of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives, National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, on Economic Policy, who was at the Head of the Belarusian side, expressed interest to continue active collaboration with Polish business.The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in the Republic of Belarus which was also presented at the meeting, confirmed interest to facilitate further economic interaction with Belarusian companies.

Polina Tolstik, NAIP Deputy Director, emphasized that following the results of 2018, Poland takes the 4th place by the volume of FDI inflow to Belarus, which grew by 36.2% in comparison with 2017. NAIP will continue to give competent support to the Polish companies interested to invest, and also will take part in arrangement of the Belarusian-Polish forum in November, which is initiated by PAIH. The Forum is to bring together representatives of Polish business community who are interested in acquaintance with business conditions and economic capacity of Belarus.
