NAIP will take part in the fourth meeting of the Belarusian-Slovenian intergovernmental commission on trade, economic and sci-tech cooperation
The fourth meeting of the Belarusian-Slovenian intergovernmental commission will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 20-21 October.
Belarus’ part of the commission will be chaired by Deputy Foreign Minister Yelena Kupchina, Slovenia’s – by Director General for Economic Diplomacy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Stanislav Rascan.
The commission will consider the status and prospects for the Belarusian-Slovenian trade and economic cooperation, including collaboration in the industry, transport, agriculture and tourism, and further improvement of the legal framework.
The parties will coordinate proposals to expand the scale of cooperation in the economic area and implementation of new joint projects.
The agenda of the meeting will include the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the National Agency of Investment and Privatization of Belarus and the Slovenian Public Agency for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Development, Investment and Tourism SPIRIT.
Besides, a business forum and a business matchmaking session will be held under the aegis of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia and Belarus.
