On May 10-11, 2018, the first Belarusian-Japanese economic forum will be held in Japan. The event starts in Tokyo, the second day of the forum is to be held at the business site in Osaka. The aim of the forum is to intensify investment and regional cooperation with Japan.

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan, Japan Foreign Trade Promotion Organization, heads of leading Japanese companies and organizations are invited to participate in the forum.

The Belarusian delegation will include the heads of the Ministry of Health, NAIP, BelCCI, Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, Mogilev FEZ, Industrial Park Development Company . Initiators of investment projects, as well as representatives of Belarusian companies cooperating with Japanese partners are invited to participate in the forum.

The program of the forum provides for speeches of the officials of the two countries. During the event, presentations of the investment potential of Belarus, Great Stone Industrial Park will be organized, as well as a number of other investment projects, including in the field of engineering, electric vehicles and high-tech medical equipment.

Participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the prospects of interaction with Japanese companies in the fields of information and telecommunications technologies, automation and robotics, production of electric vehicles and auto components, and investment cooperation.

In addition, business meetings are planned in the B2B format with representatives of Japanese companies and business associations. Also, the forum participants will visit the leading Japanese companies in Tokyo and Osaka.

The organizers of the forum are the National Agency of Investment and Privatization, the Embassy of Belarus in Japan, Mogilev Regional Executive Committee with the support of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
