The Memorandum of Understanding between National Agency of Investment and Privatization and Italian-Belarusian Chamber of Commerce was signed today in Minsk.

Chamber of Commerce Italy-Belarus (La Camera di Commercio Italia Bielorussia – ССIBY) is the only National Organization which is focused on the business cooperation between Italy and Belarus and officially admitted by Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is part of the huge and important System of the Italian Chambers coordinated by UnionCamere, the National structure that joints the Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Mixed Italy-Foreign Country Chambers.
Chamber of Commerce Italy-Belarus is a reference point with public value in Italy for Ministries, Regional Chamber of Commerce, Public Authorities, Banks and Local Institutions concerning the business relationship with the Republic of Belarus
It works like Chamber of Commerce since 2009 and one month and half ago was totally replaced. The new President is Mr Angelo Ilardi, an italian enterpreneur with big experience in the internationalization processes, especially into the Republic of Belarus, that works and lives in Italy and in Belarus since more than 3 years and has big plans to accelerate economic relations between our countries. The new Board of the Cahmber is composed by italian and belarusian businessman and businesswomen. The Chamber has new headquarter in Italy, in Salerno and representative partners in Belars, in Minsk.
In the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Agency and the Chamber was also signed a Joint action plan for 2015. Inter alia the plan includes organization of regular Skype conferences for potential investors in various regions of Italy, preparation of materials about investment climate and opportunities in Belarus in Italian language, participation in events organized for representatives of the Italian business and more.
The Italian Republic is one of the key partners of the Republic of Belarus in the field of economy and investment sphere. In Belarus works more than 100 companies with Italian capital, in cluding 78 joint ventures. There is a considerable potential for expansion of economic relations, which can be revealed also through activiation of cooperation with a network of business associations in Italy.
