Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus is celebrated on July 3 to commemorate the day in 1944 when Minsk was liberated from the nazi invaders. This year marks the 80th anniversary of those important events.

This holiday reminds us of the enduring value and high price of peace. We remember generations of winners, workers, creators; we honor them, who defended our right to life, liberty and development and began to build the foundation on which, over the years of independence, Belarus has achieved significant success in state and socio-economic development.
