Ways to strengthen the Belarusian-Italian interregional cooperation were discussed during a visit of a delegation of Brest Oblast led by Brest Oblast Governor Konstantin Sumar to Turin, Piedmont, Italy, BelTA learnt from the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.
Participants of the meeting discussed the ways to strengthen the Belarusian-Italian interregional cooperation, expand cooperation with Piedmont in trade, economic, investment and other areas.
The visit that took place on 10-11 April was organized by the Embassy of Belarus in the Republic of Italy. The delegation comprised Head of the Brest Free Economic Zone Viktor Nevdakh, representatives of the Brest Oblast Executive Committee, the Brest Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the National Agency of Investment and Privatization as well as directors of 16 Belarusian companies.
