The Belarusian mechanical engineering company Amkodor will start building a factory in Kolodishchi in 2016 to make loaders, Valery Ivankovich, Director General of OAO Amkodor, the managing company of the holding company, during a presentation of the holding company before the diplomatic corps on 28 August said.

According to the source, a Belarusian-Chinese agreement was signed during the latest Chinese-Belarusian forum. In line with the agreement major investments will be channeled into the development and modernization of the factories Amkodor Unimod, Amkodor Unikab, and the construction of the Amkodormash factory at premises of the Dormashmet enterprise. The new factory will be able to make about 6,000 loaders per annum, said Valery Ivankovich.
The project to build the Amkodormash factory will use Amkodor's spare premises in Kolodishchi where the Dormashmet factory is now located. Dormashmet became part of Amkodor in 1993. The factory was focused on making intermediate products, processing rolled metal products and making welded structures for all the enterprises of the holding company Amkodor.

Valery Ivankovich remarked that Amkodormash will be a state-of-the-art enterprise that will utilize cutting-edge manufacturing lines to make high-quality merchandise. The enterprise will also offer comfortable working conditions. Amkodor has already started preparations and is calculating the capacities to develop the new enterprise.
