Concern delegation headed by Chairman Yuri Nazarov went on a business trip to Finland.

Heads of pulp and paper mills – OJSC Svetlogorsk Pulp and Board Plant, RUE Newsprint plant (“Zavod Gazetnoy Bumagi”) and holdnig Belarusian Wallpaper (“Belorusskie Oboi”) – went to Finland for talks with Finnish companies ANDRITZ Oy and METSÄ Group.

According to the press-service of Bellesbumprom, the parties plan to discuss the implementation of joint projects within the framework of the new production of coated and uncoated types of cardboard that is being built on the basis of Dobrush paper factory Geroj Truda and holdnig Belarusian Wallpaper (“Belorusskie Oboi”). The Belarusian side expects foreign direct investment to the development of this production. The parties will also discuss technological cooperation of Finnish companies with Svetlogorsk Pulp and Paperboard and Newsprint plant (“Zavod Gazetnoy Bumagi”), and the questions of future cooperation in attracting investments of Finnish companies in the pulp and paper industry of Belarus.
