to announce the search for strategic investor to purchase
50,07% of shares of the state-owned OJSC “Konfa“
WHAT: OJSC “Konfa” is a Belarusian manufacturer of high-quality confectionery products and biscuits. The specialties are: gingerbread, biscuits, zephyr, wafers, drops and other of the kind.
HOW: The process of attracting a strategic investor is to be carried out in accordance with the international public tender methodology and with assistance of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the World Bank Group) under the Grant Agreement between the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus and IBRD (Austrian Trust Fund Grant No. TF098603). The Consortium of Mattig Management Partners GesmbH, CJSC “Alfa Bank” and LLC “Egorov, Puginsky, Afanasiev and Partners” advice the Agency on preparing and supporting the transaction.
WHO: Private companies with a solid business reputation with at least 3 years of experience in production, distribution or sale of food, alimentary or agricultural products are encouraged to participate in the selection. Potential participants should be able to show average annual revenue results (last 3 years taken) of at least USD 12 million.
THE PROCEDURE: In order to participate in the selection, companies should submit Expression of Interest no later than June 15, 2015 according to the form.
After the deadline the Tender Committee will shortlist potential investors. Shortlisted investors will get an access to the Data Room, where the management presentation will be provided. Site visits will be organized as well.
In August 2015 potential investors shall make a final investment offer. The best offer will be subsequently selected by the Tender Committee.
