China Electric Power Equipment and Technology (CET), with the assistance of the National Agency of Investment and Privatization, is exploring the possibility of implementing an investment project in the energy sector in Belarus.
As a subsidiary of the State Grid Corporation of China, CET develops energy facilities using various project delivery models. The company's portfolio includes over 200 projects in 40 countries, implemented through the EPC contract model. CET also raises financing and operates under the PPP BOOT model (build–own-operate–then transfer).
Company representatives expressed their interest in implementing the project in Belarus during business talks following the "Belarus Investment Open Days in China," organized and held by the NAIP in November 2025.
