The National Agency of Investment of Privatization, The Ministry of Economy of Republic of Belarus and the Financial Advisor, the Consortium of KPMG Tanacsado Kft. (Republic of Hungary), KPMG Limited liability company (Republic of Belarus), Law offices Raidla Lejins & Norcous (Republic of Lithuania), Stepanovski, Papakul and Partners Limited Liability Company (Republic of Belarus), Advocates Bureau Stepanovski, Papakul and partners (Republic of Belarus), have signed the Contract for Consultant’s Services on Attracting Strategic Investors to OJSC «Baranovichi Reinforced Concrete Products Pant», OJSC «Belsantekhmontazh-2», OJSC «Construction and Mounting Trust № 8», OJSC «Avtomagistral».
In accordance with the Contract provisions the Financial Advisor will prepare financial, operational and legal due diligence of the enterprises, independent valuation of the stakes according with the international methodology and the national standards, analyze investments risks, develop strategies for attracting investors, carry out the marketing campaign.
Team Leader of the Financial Advisor is Tamas Simonyi – Head of KPMG CEE Financial Institutions M&A Advisory and a Director of Corporate Finance Advisory at KPMG in Hungary, the expert with significant experience in M&A (more than 60 of M&A transactions in 17 countries).
It is expected that the strategic investors will be attracted to the enterprises till the end of 2014.

The Financial Advisor was selected in accordance with the procedures of the World Bank. More than 30 applicants participated in the selection process. The Evaluation Committee was formed from representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Finance, the State Property Committee and the Agency. During the tender, the Evaluation Committee assessed participants on such criteria as experience in similar transactions, experience and qualification of the employees, nominated for participation in the project, etc.
OJSC «Baranovichi Reinforced Concrete Products Pant», OJSC «Belsantekhmontazh-2», OJSC «Construction and Mounting Trust № 8», OJSC «Avtomagistral» are in the list of eight companies selected for Pilot Privatization Project being implemented by the Agency with the World Bank’s support.
