The branch of the High Technology Park will have been opened by the end of the year in Grodno, Director of HTP Valery Tsepkalo reports at today’s press conference.
“As far as Minsk concerns, we implemented a major investment program last year and finished development of the area allocated for us. A number of offices, business incubator, data center, fitness center and other facilities were built,” Valery Tsepkalo said.
The head of HTP also notices that the most important investments have been made in human capital. “Today, it is more accurate to say investment in the human, in his education, professional development. Each company of HTP invest in training both of its own staff and those who can potentially come and work in the park”, he added.
Valery Tsepkalo considers education the main secret of the success of the Belarusian IT-industry. “It is intelligence that is the only driving force for future development of the High Technology Park and the Belarusian economy as a whole”, he believes.
