Conditions for successful investment have been created in Belarus, and they need to be used. This was stated by Eimantas Kyudulas, General Director of the managing enterprise Klaipeda Free Economic Zone, before the start of the business meeting on the Belarusian-Lithuanian cooperation in the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
"Residents of our free economic zone invest in Belarus and will continue to invest, which is the best proof that you have created the conditions for investing, and they need to be used," said Eimantas Kydulas.
He stressed that Lithuanian companies work in the free economic zones of Belarus, which are interested in promoting products to the market of the Eurasian Economic Union, and in the free economic zones of Lithuania enterprises with Belarusian capital, oriented to sales in the countries of the European Union, operate.

"We should facilitate their work, inform about the benefits, so that they can choose the best conditions for doing business," said Eimantas Kydulas.
Belarus and Lithuania expect to reach a turnover of 1.5 billion euros. "I hope that we will come out at 1.5 billion euros, we see the growth of both economies, positive trends, including investment activity." We are looking forward to the development of cooperation both in the end of this year and the coming year, " said Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Lithuania to Belarus Andrius Pulokas.
According to him, in order to intensify investment cooperation, we need to communicate more, hold events similar to this business meeting. "Being neighboring countries, we can always find new interesting ideas and projects," the ambassador said.
Regarding the priority forms of cooperation, Andrius Pulokas expressed the opinion that strong trade relations sooner or later turn into deeper forms of interaction. "We live in a global world, business internationalization processes are taking place. Classical trade relations at the present stage do not correspond to the spirit of the times. Investment activity, cooperation ties are mandatory, " he said.
