According to the Orsha District Executive Committee, the company for the production of heat-shrinkable plastic sleeves has been officially opened in Orsha, and become one of the main events of the International Innovation Forum in Vitebsk.
The investment project “Production of heat shrink sleeve” is implemented by a foreign limited liability company Salling Plast Production Orsha, recorded in 2013. Danish company SL Finance, Ranum has the main share in the authorized capital. Total investment volume in the production amounts to almost $ 2.5 million, including $ 1.36 million of investor’s means and more than $ 1.1 million under the credit agreement of the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation. 23 jobs have been created.
“After the installation of the purchased Danish equipment, reconstruction of the former warehouse, in fact, has been conducted in parallel with the production. 41 thousand sleeves have been produced for the last 7 months of this year amounting to Br 6, 2 billion. The volume of exports to the Smolensk region, the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia and Kazakhstan is $ 74.5 thousand for this period. Now we have completed the construction work and open a fully equipped complete production line for heat-shrinkable sleeves for the heating mains from 90 to 400 mm diameter ”, — said chief engineer Nikolai Kostyanko.
He added that at present rebuilding operations are in progress to reconstruct the second half of the purchased shop-warehouse for the organization of another line — for the production of sleeves from 450 to 1200 mm in diameter. It will be put into operation in the spring of 2016. In the future, it is expected to expand the range of products at the expense of other components for heating mains: twins, adapters and so on. All these products are in demand in the domestic market, but Salling Plast Production Orsha FLLC is an export-oriented company, and 90% of products are imported to foreign markets.
