JLLC Manuli Hydraulics Manufacturing Bel intends to expand the delivery area of high-pressure hoses to four continents

JLLC Manuli Hydraulics Manufacturing Bel intends to expand the delivery area of high-pressure hoses to four continents.

Andrei Ivanyuk, Head of this joint Belarussian-Italian enterprise, reported it to the BelTA correspondent.

According to him, since the launch of the plant in Orsha and the first shipment in February, 2015 to October of the current year inclusively, the company has exported products worth more than 10 million dollars. About 95% of the products are delivered to Germany and France.

“There are large logistics centers where the products spread with small batches all over Europe. Last month the first batches on the basis of long-term contracts were spread to buyers from Finland and South Africa. Right now we are preparing documents for shipping a truck to the Netherlands and we hope that in December everything will be done. We are working on a supply logistics to South America and Australia. It is also very important our products remain competitive price-wise after expenditures for transportation expenses. Our potential buyers are satisfied with the quality of the products,” Andrei Ivanyuk mentioned.

Demand for the Orsha’s high-pressure one-braiding and two-braiding designs hoses is due to the fact that this component is required in the production of any equipment where hydraulics is involved. It means that it is used in road construction, mining and agriculture. We can also say that demand for import-substituting products exists on the domestic market. Contracts with JSC MTZ, JSC Belaruskali have been already signed, but also a couple of important agreements are expected to be sighed with other Belarusian companies. JSC BelAZ, UE Vitstroitehmash, JSC Belagromash are the prospective customers of Manuli Hydraulics company in our country.

“Our output exceeds domestic demand considerably. During August – October of this year domestic customers dispatched only 82 thousand meters of high-pressure hoses. Six month after the plant was launched and we came to a production capacity of about 400 thousand linear meters per month,” Andrei Ivanyuk mentioned.

Despite of the fact that the company is completely new, the industrial park of the company continues to develop. Braiding machines De Angelo, which make sleeves of DN 25 size, and a line for manufacturing the core have been put into operation in October.  In the nearest future, the company will purchase new equipment for rubber bands production. All this will open up new perspectives and will create a good basis for improving profitability.

JLLC Manuli Hydraulics Manufacturing Bel was created in the result of signing an investment agreement between the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus and the company Manuli Rubber Industries S.p.A., OJSC Plant Legmash. 16.5 million euros were invested in the creation of this production.
