Limited Liability Company SMU-25 Construction Service is registered in Minsk Free Economic Zone as a new resident, according to the administration of FEZ. 

The company plans to implement a project for the construction of special steel structures for industrial house-building and objects of the production, warehouse and trade infrastructure. The declared scope of investment, according to the contract, is not less than 15,180 million US dollars, also it is expected that at least 45 work places will be created. 

Totally 112 enterprises currently carry out their productive activities in Minsk Free Economic Zone. This year, in addition to SMU-25 Construction services, 7 more residents were registered. It is supposed to implement an investment project of building a factory for sorting and recycling mixed waste through ArrowBio technology. 

Minsk Free Economic Zone was founded in 1998 with the purpose to attract domestic and foreign investment for the creation and development of industries based on new and high technologies, as well as to create favorable conditions for the economic development of the region. 23 countries have already invested their capital in the enterprises of the zone, 65 countries import products of FEZ. Since the establishment of the zone for the organization of production, residents constructed and reconstructed 36 factories. On the territory of Minsk Free Economic Zone, 15 factories are under construction and reconstruction, there are 9 factories at the design stage. The main industrial sectors, in which the enterprises of the zone operate, are mechanical engineering and metal working, chemical and petrochemical, timber, construction industry and others. Currently, FEZ is located on 21 sites with total area of 2.6 thousand hectares, including within the city it is about 1 ha, in Minsk region it occupies the territory of 1.6 ha.
