In the center of Europe and midst of the economy, most attractive cities as an investment are being honored in Cannes on 15 March. Among them is the Belarusian capital. Minsk entered the top 10 most promising European cities for foreign investors. The prestigious ranking is compiled by fDi Intelligence resource, a subdivision of the Financial Times.

The capital of Belarus ranked second in ‘Top 10 Major European City of the Future – Cost Effectiveness’ and tenth in ‘Top 10 Major European City of the Future – FDI Strategy.’ Materials for participation in the competition were prepared and submitted to the international jury by the National Agency of Investment and Privatization.

The award ceremony is taking place within the framework of the MIPIM international real estate exhibition. This is a very good platform for strengthening business relations.

Minsk and Belarusian business representatives also participate in this event. Today, the delegation headed by Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Andrei Shorets will participate for the first time in this exhibition. During the exhibition, the presentation of prestigious awards of the supplement to The Financial Times will be held for the first time as well, the awards will be given to Minsk. This is a very important signal to potential investors from around the world in relation to the development of cooperation with Belarus in general and in particular with the Belarusian capital.

MIPIM exhibition is one of the most influential and prestigious events in the field of real estate. The exhibition offers its participants unique access to a large number of construction projects and funding sources worldwide. In 2016, it involves representatives from more than 85 countries.
