Hungarian company «EGIS» made an official visit to the Republic of Belarus to explore possible areas of cooperation with local pharmaceutical companies.
National Agency of Investment and Privatization organized the visit the «EGIS» company to the Republic of Belarus on April 21-24, 2015.

Headquartered in Budapest, Hungary, «EGIS» is one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Central and Eastern Europe. The company was founded in 1863. Today the overall number of staff, including foreign representations, amounts to more than 4,000 people.
The company's activities cover the areas of pharmaceutical production from research and development to production of active substances and finished products for sale. In total «EGIS» has three production facilities. The company's products are sold in more than 60 countries worldwide.
The main goal of the company’s visit was to study the possibilities of establishing cooperation with the Belarusian pharmaceutical companies.
During the visit, «EGIS» held talks with the Ministry of Economy, Department of the pharmaceutical industry. There were also organized a series of negotiations with the top-management of the Belarusian public and private pharmaceutical companies, as well as visits to the production of pharmaceuticals.
