The National Agency of Investment and Privatization (NAIP) of Belarus and the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency signed a memorandum of intent to intensify cooperation on 1 December.

The National Agency of Investment and Privatization (NAIP) of Belarus and the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency signed a memorandum of intent to intensify cooperation on 1 December.

“This document will help work out a single strategy and approaches and will specify business terms,” Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Rusy.

He noted that now the partners need to train highly-qualified professionals and work on product standardization. “We need to bring the Customs Union and the European Union closer to each other,” Mikhail Rusy said. He added that Polish businessmen asked Belarusian partners to help them understand technical regulations of the Customs Union.

The Polish-Belarusian Investment Forum is taking place in Warsaw on 1 December. A cooperation agreement has been signed between the Poznan-based Center for Continuing Education and Practice and the National Institute of Professional Education of Belarus. BelTA.
