On 18 February, the representatives of the National Agency of Investment and Privatization participated in the interactive online conference “Trade & Investment Opportunities between India & Belarus – Post COVID-19” organized by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations and the Embassy of India in Belarus.

Over 100 owners and CEOs of large Indian companies, which are interested to develop trade and investment partnership with Belarus, took part in the event.

In his address Mr. Dzmitry Krasouski, NAIP Director briefed on key services the Agency provides to foreign investors interested in launching and expanding their business in Belarus, as well as touched upon the priority areas for the Belarusian-Indian investment cooperation and plans to adopt new approaches in the work with foreign companies, given the experience gained during the pandemic and the global economic outlook post COVID-19.

The Q&A session evoked strong interest from the business circles. As the limited time of the conference did not allow to cover all of the aspects of doing business in Belarus relevant to the Indian partners, NAIP will share more additional information as a follow-up to the business contacts established in the course of the conference.
