NAIP in cooperation with the team of Financial Advisor – consortium of companies Ernst & Young FLLC, Ernst & Young Legal Services and Law firm “Aleinikov & Partners” (Belarus), – completed preparatory phase for strategic investors search for OJSC “Konfa” and OJSC “Minsk Margarine Plant”.
Employees of NAIP and experts from one of the world leading consulting companies conducted financial, operational and legal due diligence, performed valuation in compliance with national and international standards, made the transformation of recordings according to IFRS, performed the analysis of investment risks etc.
Based on the abovementioned analysis the strategy for OJSC “Konfa” and OJSC “Minsk Margarine Plant” strategic investors search was worked out and the Agency accompanied by Financial Advisor directly proceeds to the investors search phase.
This phase includes direct contacts Advisor with potential strategic investors. Also it includes information (advertising) campaign both in local and international media. The campaign is aimed to increase the number of the candidates and to provide the transparency and openness of the process.
Upon request potential strategic investors will be presented with detailed information on companies to be privatized. They also will be provided with the information on the strategic investors selection process, with the conditions for tender investment proposals and criteria of their evaluation.
The Pilot Privatization Project is implemented by NAIP with the assistance of the World Bank. All the phases for strategic investors search are in accordance with the best international practices.
