On October 24, NAIP took part in Belarus-Slovakia intergovernmental commission which took place in Minsk.

The 14th meeting of the Belarusian-Slovak joint commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation under the leadership of Evgeny Shestakov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, and Rastislav Chovanec, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic, was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Denis Meleshkin, Deputy Head, represented NAIP.

During the negotiations the parties agreed to further expand collaboration in investments, industrial cooperation, agriculture, science and technology, education, energy, credit and financial sector, standardization, metrology and conformity assessment, pharmaceuticals, IT, regional cooperation, etc. At the end of the Commission’s work the co-chairs signed the Protocol. 

NAIP confirmed that it's ready to keep cooperating with Slovak business and accompany investment projects in Belarus.

Earlier this year NAIP took part in Belarus-Slovakia Business Forum, which was held during Belarus Industrial & Investment Forum in Minsk. In 2017, NAIP also signed Agreement on Cooperation with SARIO (Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency).
