National Agency of Investment and Privatization within the framework of implementation of the pilot project with assistance of the World Bank requested six consultants, shortlisted earlier, for proposals for rendering services of financial consultant to attract a strategic investor to enterprises grouped in Pool No. 2: OJSC Belgazstroy and OJSC Medplast:
- CET Capital Ltd (Great Britain);
- Deloitte Consulting LLP (the USA);
- Ernst&Young (the Republic of Belarus);
- Mattig Management Partners (Austria);
- PricewaterhouseCoopers UAB (Lithuania);
- Raiffeisen Investment AG (Austria).
The request provides for conditions for hiring financial consultant, in particular, Terms of Reference and Standard Form of Contract are attached.
Technical and Financial Proposals for performance of work and provision of services for searching for strategic investor for OJSC Belgazstroy and OJSC Medplast have to be submitted to the Agency by the shortlisted consultants not later than 18 January 2013.
On the basis of valuation of submitted proposals, which is planning to be held till the last days of January 2013, a consultant giving the best proposal will be invited to negotiations and signing of Contract. Thus, selected financial consultant may start working in March 2013.
Financial consultant will perform legal, financial and operational due diligence, what will help to generate clear understanding of activity of joint stock companies, the valuation of state owned shares according to domestic and international standards will also be carrying out, several strategies of attracting an investor will be worked out, informational coverage of all potential investors in Belarus and abroad will be organized and strategic investor will be attracted.
