Belarusian-Latvian Investment Forum was held as a part of the IX Belarus’ National Exhibition in Latvia, which took place in Riga, on December 6-9, 2012. The investment forum was organized by The National Agency of Investment and Privatization and the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Latvia.
Director of the National Agency of Investment and Privatization Dmitry Klevzhits made a presentation on the Belarus’ investment climate, and acted as a moderator at one of the sections — “Cooperation in financial field, investment processes promotion, investment in the development of innovative technologies”.
Besides that, within the framework of the National Exhibition and Investment Forum the Agency exhibited stands with prospective Belarusian investment projects. Businessmen interested in the projects were provided with all the information on the projects as well as on the investment environment of Belarus.
Along with the representatives of Belarusian and Latvian business communities the Investment Forum was attended by businessmen from Lithuania, Estonia, Sweden and Finland.
Upon completion of the Belarusian National Exhibition in Riga, the Agency’s employees attended the Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) for the purpose of experience exchange.
