On 29th November, London hosted a ceremonial reception of ICFM with the participation of His Highness Prince Michael of Kent, business representatives, the high society of the United Kingdom, representatives of embassies, during which the awards ceremony LUCA PACHOLLI was held. The so-called financial “Oscar” this year was given to Chief accountant of BelVEB Bank Lyudmila Filippova “For the best introduction of IFRS in the bank.”

In order to participate in the reception IBC LUCA Awards, the leading specialists of the financial sector come in London annually. No doubt, that presentation of awards within the event of such a scale raises the prestige of the country and enhances its credibility among international business partners and investors.

Recall that, several nominees from Belarus were winners of the prestigious award last year. Director of the National Agency of Investment and Privatization Natallia Nikandrava won in the nomination “For contribution to attract investments in Belarus”. Tatiana Pyvovar, Member of the Board, Chief Accountant of JSC Belgazprombank, received LUCA PACHOLLI statuette personally from the hands of Prince Michael of Kent “For the best introduction of IFRS in the banking sector of the Republic of Belarus”, Member of the Board, Chief Accountant of “Belgazprombank” PLC.

“The best ICFM employer of the year for corporate training of financial and economic services for IFRS” in 2015 became Alexander Lyakhov, General Director at Belorusneft.
