The start of production of supercapacitors in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone is expected in 2018.
Supercapacitors will be used by Belkommunmash Holding Management Company JSC for electric buses, trolleybuses and trams. The project is being implemented by Chengdu Sinju Silk Road Development LLC. "The first production line for the production of supercapacitors is planned for next year," head of the Administration of the "Great Stone" Industrial Park Alexander Yaroshenko said.
The Park Administration also expects that in 2018 American company Rukhteh, which is building the production of laser equipment in the Great Stone, will start to produce its first products.
As noted by Alexander Yaroshenko, a good dynamics of attracting residents is to be maintained in the Park. It is expected that by the end of 2018 the number of residents will grow from 23 to 35. Several new companies should appear already at the beginning of the year. The head of the Park Administration stressed that there is a special interest in the arrival of Belarusian investors to Great Stone Industrial Park. "We are waiting for Belarusians with interesting, high-tech innovative projects, I hope that in the beginning of the year several serious companies will already enter our territory," he said.
In terms of attracting foreign and domestic investors, they count on the assistance of parliamentarians. Today, in Great Stone the seminar of the House of Representatives, which examines the legal regime of the park, its infrastructure is being held. The opportunities created here for attracting investments and organizing high-tech industries are discussed.
