The presentation of the startup projects took place on September 20, 2022 online. Twelve projects in the fields of agriculture, medicine, and high technology were presented.

"Rapid growth and scaling are some of the main requirements for a startup. It's no secret that at a certain stage of a startup's life, there is a need for investment. Communication with the investor becomes the key to project development. At the same time, the importance of pitching skills — a short and succinct presentation of a project to investors — increases. The pitching session for Belarusian startups is a great experience and an attractive prospect, — noted Mr. Dmitry Primak, Head of the Ecosystem Development Department of Belagroprombank, one of the event organizers.

Pitch sessions are short presentations of projects. The main task of the speakers is to present their development as briefly and fully as possible. The organizers noted that the conference participants coped with this task perfectly.

"We were impressed by how well prepared the startups were. The speakers offered really interesting ideas, which are now trending in investment directions. The presentations were made in the best pitch session traditions: in three minutes the participants gave the most complete information about the project, its financial indicators, potential market and competitors", — shared Dmitry Berezovsky, first deputy director of the National Agency of Investment and Privatization.

The range of investor funds that took part in the Dubai-Minsk pitch session was quite diverse: investors from Australia, France, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates listened to the presentation of Belarusian startups. Eurasia Gulf, an Arabic company, was the organizer of the conference on the investor side.

"The participants demonstrated very interesting solutions, many of which are relevant across the world. We are confident that the teams will overgrow the Belarusian market, think about other countries and come to us in UAE. For many years the Emirates have been leading the region as the most attractive country for business and are welcoming both experienced and novice entrepreneurs", — said Tadeush Dobrovolski, the Head of Eurasia Gulf.

Many of the presented projects aroused genuine interest among potential investors. In the future, foreign listeners are ready to visit Belarus and talk to the development teams personally.
