Two new residents were registered in Minsk FEZ in December 2017: Borisov Engine Plant Dzhili LLC and My Garden LLC.
The limited liability company Borisov Engine Plant Dzhili will be engaged in the implementation of the investment project " Organization of production of internal combustion engines equipped with gearbox for cars ". The declared volume of investments will make not less than 500 thousand euro within 3 years. The company will additionally employ at least 18 people.

My Garden LLC has already started implementing the investment project for the construction of a high-tech greenhouse complex for growing roses. According to the contract, the announced volume of investments will amount to more than 14.614 million euros within 2 years. It is planned that at least 60 jobs are to be created.
"The organization of flower cultivation is an objective market need for the development of a competitive national business in the development of high technologies of the agrarian industry that facilitates import substitution and, accordingly, improvement of the country's foreign trade balance," as it was noted in Minsk FEZ.
For reference: Altogether 114 residents were registered in Minsk FEZ, including 13 enterprises since the beginning of 2017. Minsk Free Economic Zone was established in 1998 with the aim of attracting domestic and foreign investments for the development of industries based on new and high technologies and providing favorable conditions for the economic development of the region. Since the creation of the FEZ its area has doubled and now it is more than 2.6 thousand hectares. 39 factories were built and reconstructed for the organization of production facilities, 12 are still under construction, and 12 are at the design stage. The main industrial branches in which FEZ enterprises operate are machine building and metalworking, chemical and petrochemical, timber and construction industries. Financial capital from 23 countries is invested in production. Major investors are Russia, Cyprus, Great Britain, Germany, Estonia, Latvia and the United States. 67 countries import products produced by the FEZ residents.
